Have you ever dreaded certain conversations like giving feedback, dealing with conflict in an important relationship, or addressing sensitive issues related to inclusion, equity and diversity? Fearful of making things worse or expressing emotions in unhelpful ways you sidestep them altogether.
Learn practical new ways to approach these important conversations with confidence, clarity and calm; deepen your understanding of the underlying causes of the fear - yours and the other person’s - and use the gift of these conversations; the opportunity to build relationship and mutual connection and understanding.
We believe there is a compelling need to increase connection and human understanding – in our relationships, between groups and across our global community. All too often conversations around difficult and complex issues become polarised and divisive.
In this program we explore what sits underneath the fear – a disconnect between our sense-making process and the sense-making process of others. This disconnect is powered by interpretive survival stories we create and occurs at all levels of human systems.
Drawing on the field of adult development and grounded in the science related to our sense-making process and the power of stories, this program gives you the confidence, knowledge, skills and tools to transform ‘difficult’ conversations into ‘learning’ conversations
We welcome you to come and learn with us and join our quest to deepen relationship, transform conflict, increase connection and create a better world.
