Keith believes that a strong training and personal development partnership like Cultivating Leadership needs an experienced financial manager to enable the partners and colleagues to conduct their business without becoming overly wrapped up in the day to day financial administration that inevitably occurs when you deal with clients in an international arena.

Keith has been involved in the financial sector within the New Zealand environment for over 35 years and also has experience in the United Kingdom banking sector. Keith began work in the NZ banking industry in 1978 and has progressed through the various levels within this sector reaching an executive position within the then BNZ Treasury, before branching out as a finance manager contractor in 1998. He has worked for a number of organisations over the years from NZ Post in Upper Hutt to a specialist role within a central Wellington accounting firm.

Keith left college in his 6th Form Year (today this would be Year 13), gaining basic secondary school qualifications to join the BNZ Cadet Program. During his work for the bank he gained various Accounting and Commercial Law / Economics qualifications, enabling him to progress in his banking career, which began in 1978 and ended in 1998.

Keith works mainly from home, which is situated in beautiful Silverstream, Upper Hutt, NZ. When not working Keith enjoys gym workouts, going for runs along bush and tree covered tracks around his home and leisure time with his wife Daughne and children + grandchild. Family and friends are a big part of Keith’s life and his current work / leisure balance is very satisfying.
